In the midst of this, she must decide whether or not to perform a potentially career-hurting dangerous surgery on a pregnant woman run over by an SUV driver talking on their cell phone. Meanwhile, Lu battles a company that wants to take her financially-deprived patient's cells to find a cure for leukemia without paying her. Also, Lana finds romance over dog residue.
